Here is the 1953 Spartan Imperial Mansion. This is one part of the mobile fleet that constitutes the offices for Sides Street Projects, a non-profit organization that serves artists of all ages. Now Located at Fair Oaks and Orange Grove in a formerly vacant lot in Pasadena CA, the mobile headquarters for Side Street projects consists of two vintage Spartan trailers, two modified school buses that serve as mobile woodshop/classrooms, a mobile solar energy facility and the new Armadillo–a repurposed FEMA trailer that hosts a vertical garden.
The interior of the ’53 Spartan was recently renovated with woodwork in birch multiply and solid walnut designed and executed by Ed.
